Why should I not just call my insurance company if I am involved in a non-fault accident? You can claim from the at-fault driver’s insurance, why use your own?

What if my car is a write-off?
In a non-fault accident, if you have a need for a temporary replacement vehicle similar to your own; you are entitled to like for like courtesy hire vehicle. The cost of the courtesy hire car is recoverable from the at-fault parties insurance company until your vehicle is repaired or write off value settled.

In the event the accident was not your fault, we do not charge our customers for our service. The cost of the hire car is covered by the at-fault driver’s insurance company and standard ABI hire rates.
Before offering our service to a customer we carry out detailed pre-service suitability checks to ensure our service is correct for the customers. We require the name and registration number of the at-fault driver together with the accident circumstances, accident location, date and time.

The cost of the vehicle we supply you with will be recovered by us, on your behalf, from the fault drivers insurers.
Yes, we can still help you. The Motorists Insurer Bureau (MIB), is an organisation that exists to compensate any innocent party who has been involved in an accident with an uninsured driver in the UK. We can assist you or contact the MIB directly, they provide a very efficient helpful service.
We can normally assist anybody from age 17 plus that holds a full drivers licence; in exceptional circumstances, we may need to arrange specialist insurance cover for high-risk drives.

Hire cars types are always confirmed before delivery
If your car is repairable then until the repairs are complete or in the event of it being a write-off. We provide the vehicle whilst it is required and in the case of a write off until you have received the funds to replace your vehicle.
